CATHY CARMODY co-created Carmody, Clark & Associates (CCA) in 1995, drawn by a strong commitment to support the development of individuals and teams in ways that would open up a new and deeper level of consciousness and a shifting of intention, identity, beliefs, capabilities and behaviors.

In 2005, Cathy created an additional company - WELwoman Inc.  This company is dedicated to the design and delivery of new approaches/platforms to support women in responding to the call to lead; in supporting men in relaxing into new ways of being, and in supporting both women and men in co-creating differently.

Cathy believes that leaders who have the courage to trust their inner selves, and who are willing to act on that knowledge, hold the key to a more evolved and successful workplace of the future. By working with these leaders - individually, through intensive coaching sessions - and in collaboration with their executive/management teams in an ongoing search for untapped potential and possibilities outside the status quo of prevailing workplace cultures, workplaces with integrity will flourish.  Working within the context of a WEL-Systems approach, which uses leading edge thinking from the new science (quantum) perspective, Cathy brings fresh and provocative concepts and questions to bear around issues of evolution and growth for individuals and organizations.

In 2005, Cathy published her first book:  Out of Hiding - Reclaiming My Voice and Taking My Life Back, which is now available on Amazon.com.  In addition to the wide variety of workplace interventions that Cathy offers, she has also created and co-delivered a number of highly successful leadership programs since 2005.

 Additional Points of Interest:

Cathy brings over twenty-four (24) years of experience in executive and senior management positions in both provincial and federal Government systems in Canada; experience as an owner of a business in the retail sector, and 15 years of continuous consulting experience in evolution and growth, including change management, leadership development, and accelerated consciousness. Cathy has also taught Leadership Development with the Canada School of Public Service (formerly the Canadian Centre for Management Development) in Ottawa.

Among a host of credentials, Cathy holds a degree in Business Administration from UPEI, a Diploma in Public Administration; is certified as a WEL-Systems Catalyst, a certified CODE Model Coach, a Master Practitioner in Neurolinguistic Programming and is certified in Open Space Technology.  Cathy has many years of community service as a volunteer, including serving for 4 years as President of the Halifax YWCA, serving on boards of Womens' Transition Houses in PEI and in Ottawa, Ontario, and many years as a School Board Trustee.

Cathy has been honored over the years for her many achievements, including an award for Chatelaine Woman of the Year for PEI in 1972, School Trustee of the Year for PEI in 1984, a listing in the Who's Who of Canadian and International Women in 1984, and as one of the women doing "Notable Work in the Halifax/Dartmouth area" in 1998. In her spare time Cathy is a dedicated gardener, a social activist/innovator, and a world explorer.
